Meet David Wasinger
On November 5, 2024, David Wasinger was elected to serve as Missouri’s 49th Lieutenant Governor.
David is an America-first conservative who is committed to delivering a conservative agenda and real opportunities. A lifelong Missourian, David was born and raised in Hannibal. He was raised by hard-working parents who instilled small-town conservative values of faith in God, respect for law enforcement, honor for our veterans, protecting the unborn, love of family, and the value of hard work.
David is happily married to Colleen, and together they are the proud parents of two sons. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts of Greater St. Louis and previously served on the Board of Curators of the University of Missouri, where he was appointed by Governor Matt Blunt.
A lifelong fan of Mizzou Tigers’ football, David attended the University of Missouri-Columbia on a merit-based Curators’ scholarship, graduating from Mizzou with an accounting degree and earned his CPA. He then went on to Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he put his small-town values to use, fighting for justice for victims and winning for working Missourians.
David later joined a small firm that became Wasinger Daming in Brentwood, Missouri, where he specialized in business law with a clear focus on defending the interests of Main Street, directly benefiting hard-working Missourians and others around the country. David is committed to continuing that fight for Main Street, bringing accountability to state government, and delivering a conservative agenda that brings opportunities for the next generation of Missourians to achieve the American Dream.
“Today is just the beginning. Together, we will bring real, lasting change to Jefferson City. Let’s Make Missouri Great Again!”
-DAVID WASINGER
